SFMade Mixer at Cordarounds
Since we’re in the process of setting up production in San Francisco for both Taylor Stitch shirting, and for our own line of products, we hit up the SFMade Mixer hosted by Cordarounds last night.
SFMade’s mission is to support and promotes companies producing in the San Francisco area. We’re 100% behind the idea of local production, especially as a small company. Beyond the obvious Made in USA! boosterism, we honestly believe we can produce a better product in a more timely fashion with less waste locally.
The happy hour was a hit, and Cordaround’s headquarters was packed with industry people and their friends. Chris Lindland, founder of Cordarounds, gave one of the best capsule presentations on digital marketing for apparel that I’ve seen. Plus, I think it’s the first slide deck I’ve sat through that mixed analytics with cauliflower ear.
Please take the time to visit SFMade’s website, and take a look at what’s being produced around here. If you’re local, come check out their next event on June 9th.
